Please read this carefully before participating. By joining ROM Squad, every member agrees to follow these guidelines.
CREATED & HOSTED BY RIZAK, FOUNDER OF RAYS OF MARKETING
"People, not leads."
ROM Squad exists because business can feel lonely, and because women deserve a space to grow without being treated as a sales opportunity. Every member here is a person first, a business owner second, and never a target.
These guidelines exist to protect that belief, not to limit it. They keep this a space of genuine connection, not a marketplace for cold pitches. Every member is expected to engage with others the way they would want to be engaged with: with respect, patience, and zero pressure.
Business promotion in ROM Squad happens only in response to a prompt that is shared by the founder and pinned in the chat. This applies to every promotional activity, whether it's introducing your business, sharing an offer, or asking members to check out your work.
Promotion includes, but is not limited to, direct sales pitches, sharing an offer or discount, introducing a product or service, and hosting or announcing a workshop, webinar, masterclass, challenge, or similar event, whether paid or unpaid. A workshop or webinar is still promotion, even when it isn't framed as a direct sales pitch, and it must follow the same posting rules as any other promotional content.
You'll never have to sit and think of a new way to market yourself every week, that's our job. Every prompt is a fresh marketing angle, handed to you, ready to go.
If you'd like a nudge so you never miss a posting window, you can opt in to personalized notifications or email updates from the founder.
Each member may promote a maximum of two businesses, businesses she personally owns or is directly affiliated with. Promoting someone else's business on her behalf is not permitted. Both businesses must be disclosed on the membership form at joining; anything undisclosed cannot be promoted later without the founder's approval.
If a member's business changes during her membership, she must reach out to the founder directly before promoting it, as not all businesses are permitted here. Until approved, she may only promote what she originally disclosed at joining.
ROM Squad is a paid, curated space. Members may not use it to grow, promote, or redirect others to any other WhatsApp group, Telegram group, community, page, channel, event, or platform, whether free or paid, and whether it is run by the member or by someone else.
This rule protects the time, trust, and attention every member has placed in this specific community when they chose to join.
The following are considered spam and are not permitted under any circumstance:
Members may not message other members privately to promote a product or service unless that member has clearly shown interest first, or has given explicit permission to be contacted.
A member replying to a public post, asking a question, or engaging with your content is not, on its own, consent to be pitched to privately. If you are ever unsure whether you have permission, the safest choice is to ask directly before sending anything promotional.
Members may not screenshot, forward, or share conversations, member information, phone numbers, or any other content from ROM Squad outside the community without the explicit permission of the people involved.
Every member in ROM Squad is at a different stage of their business journey. Disrespectful, dismissive, or unkind behaviour toward another member, in the group or in private, is not tolerated.
ROM Squad is a space to be honest about where you are in business, including the messy parts, without fear of being judged for it. Comparing members against each other, mocking someone's stage or niche, or talking about a fellow member behind her back has no place here.
The women who get the most out of ROM Squad are usually the ones who give the most to it first.
Like a post. Answer a question you know the answer to. Celebrate someone's win like it's your own.
Members may not use ROM Squad to recruit others into an MLM, network marketing downline, "join my team," or affiliate recruitment structure. This applies even when it isn't framed as a product pitch.
Members may not approach another member privately to offer a competing product or service, or to pull her clients or audience toward their own business.
The founder will never ask for money or personal banking details over a WhatsApp DM. The only verified number for ROM Squad is +91 98787 92878. If anyone contacts you claiming to be the founder or a representative of ROM Squad and asks for payment, always confirm directly through this verified number before sending anything.
ROM Squad reviews membership forms, but this is not a vetting or endorsement of any member's business. Please do your own due diligence before buying from, investing in, or partnering with a fellow member. The founder is not liable for the outcome of any such arrangement.
These guidelines may be updated from time to time as the community grows. Members will always be notified of any material changes.
ROM Squad is a paid, curated space, and these guidelines exist to protect the integrity of that space for every paying member. They are taken seriously.
Any violation of these guidelines, including but not limited to spam, unauthorized promotion, unsolicited messaging, or a breach of member privacy, will result in immediate removal from the community, at the founder's discretion, without a refund of any membership fees paid. The founder reserves the right to remove any member or content at her discretion to protect the integrity of the community.
By joining and remaining a member of ROM Squad, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Community Guidelines in full.
If anything here is unclear, or you'd like to understand a rule better before you post, reach out. It's always better to ask first.
With love, Rizak 🤍
